Beware of phishing messages: Be cautious when opening unknown or suspicious email messages or those containing unfamiliar links. Avoid clicking on illegitimate links or downloading unknown attachments, as they may contain malware.

Check the sender: Before providing any personal or financial information via email, verify the identity of the sender. Check the email address and ensure it belongs to a trusted source.

Be cautious of requests for personal data: Avoid sending or providing your personal information, such as social security numbers, bank account details, or passwords via email unless you are sure of the sender's credibility and that they handle your information securely.

Use encrypted email: If sensitive data is sent via email, it is recommended to use encrypted email services that provide an additional layer of security and encrypt the data.

Update software and protection: Ensure the installation of security software updates and antivirus programs on your personal device, as they can protect against malicious email attacks.

Beware of common scams: Familiarize yourself with common email scams such as "phishing" messages that aim to steal your personal or financial information. Learn how to recognize these messages and avoid falling into the trap.
